I'm terribly worried about becoming the 'crazy cat lady down the street,' so I hit the 'Publish Post' button with trepidation whenever my post is about Smudge or cuteoverload or some other squeal-inducing cute animal.
But the adorableness of the nose below overcame me.
I boldly stand up and shout, "Maybe I am the crazy cute animal lady, but I deadlifted a shitload of weight this morning. Suck it!"
And I show you this:
Courtesy of the Daily Otter. You could do worse than look at a cute otter every day, just sayin'...
You can hardly be the crazy lady because you adore your one cat. The addiction to crossfit and dino-chow, on the other hand, totally makes you crazy. But I've never wanted to be sane, anyway-it's totally overrated.
ReplyDeleteMeh, it's a moot point. Cute animals are awesome, you're awesome, no problem when the two coincide. Especially when it comes to the love of rocking out with the band http://tinyurl.com/new-wave-otter
ReplyDeleteO.M.G. Those otters playing the piano are so cute I had to smash my head against the desk. That settles it! I'm getting a pet otter.
ReplyDeleteThe singing really makes it.
ReplyDeleteLove the otter pic! My family thinks I'm a total nut... for absolutely adoring my dogs, 2 doxies and a chocolate lab, AND for being part of the "cult" of CrossFit. They think I'm speaking another language on my facebook posts, even if I'm not talking about my dogs or working out. Your posts make me feel so damn normal!
ReplyDeleteOh, honey. If I'm your 'normal,' you've got trouble ;-)
ReplyDeleteDo you ever let your dogs all lie on you at once like a big ol' blanket? They sound cute!
I'm a newish reader and haven't NEEDED to comment until now. But OMG that otter made me squeal like a pre-teen girl earlier today. I love the Daily Otter, and anyone who reposts photos from it is genius in my book.
ReplyDeleteHi, Megan! You are welcome to post comments anytime... especially if you get in the habit of calling me a genius. Thanks for saying hi!
