In September, Dave and I are going on holiday to Prague. I'm going to eat a dumpling (and a strudel!), wear a black leather jacket, and walk on cobblestones. I've been asked so many times, "Why Prague?" that I've decided to show you.
It's the Prague Photo of the Day (POD).
If I close my eyes and turn on my imagination, I can almost hear my boot heels clicking on the cobblestones.
Just to warn you, if you want to walk across the bridge when it is this empty, you have to get up at the ass-crack of dawn.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you want to go when it's all crowded (but interesting, and in a different way)-be careful with your wallet. There are some downright excellent pickpockets hanging around there. (And the metro, be careful about the metro.)
Hey, Meagan. Thanks for the heads-up. Dave and I have plans to check out the bridge very early in the a.m., midday, and very late at night... hoping for ghosts or a werewolf or something supernatural. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, we're well-read on the pickpocket issues. Thanks for keeping an eye out for me!
