Moonlight Margarita Run... Tonight!

Today is still slightly craptastic. We finished CrossFit Total this morning, and I deadlifted... exactly the same weight I deadlifted last time. I'm disappointed.

I'm also ridiculously tired. After breakfast and shower, I got dressed for work, then thought I'd lie down "for a second." I instantly fell asleep. In my clothes. And shoes. When I was supposed to be on my way to the corporate overlords jail.

But tonight, I'm RUNNING! And drinking a margarita. And eating some chips & salsa.

For one night, I'm going to be fun-happy-running-margarita girl.

I'll get back to my quest to be SuperGirl tomorrow.

  1. Hi...my name is Barbara and I have CLASS ENVY..:)

You looked like a weight lifting rockstar with that loaded bar today. I noticed!

Have fun tonight at the run, think the moon is still full-ish.

  2. Even SuperGirl deserves a margarita now and then... so have fun tonight! I'd be there but my "real job" owns me during the evenings... :( drink one for me!

  5. mmmmmmmmmargarita's are my favorite! I am looking forward to having 1...at least...in about two weeks! And if you run first, I really don't think the alcohol matter! You're just re-fueling, you know?! Hey...I will poke around and see if I find anything...but have you ever posted your baba ganoush recipe on here? I'm eating it this week too, but only because the wonderful baba ganoush man was visiting costco when I last went. I have an eggplant in my drawer and would love to try it. Somehow I imagine yours involves cumin, and would love to try it!

I updated the recipe this morning, so take a lookie. It doesn't include cumin, but it can! Maybe start with 1/2 teaspoon and go from there...
