REST DAY
Dave and I spent a lot of time working on goal setting today. We did some really hard, really good work. That's the positive news. The not-so-great news is that we were so focused on what we were doing, we went way too long between breakfast and lunch... then we ate out... for BBQ... so the only vegetable option was cole slaw... and then we spent our delicious at-home dinner trying to play catch up on all the vegetables and water we missed during the day. Planning FAIL.
My sleep on the night of the 6th was only so-so. I was hot, despite the fact that the A/C was set at 69 chilly degrees. I woke up several times and finally gave up at 6:30 a.m. and finished reading Dracula. Then I slid back into snoozy for about 40 minutes or so.

Did a lot of soul searching last night. I've spent way too much time trying to take care of others and need to refocus on myself. Back on track today.
Sleep: 8.5 hours + 45 min nap
ReplyDeleteVeg: Didn't eat much in general, but had veg with my meals
1/2 c mushrooms
1/2 c spinach
1/2 c baba ghanoush (My kids even like it!)
Serious rest day - slept late, took a nap, put a nice butt dent in the couch.
Man! Something must be going around... Mel G. I slept, like, 5 hours last night. And "slept" is being generous. Talk about doing the pillow boogie! Sending you a virtual hug. Hang in, doll.
ReplyDeleteGah - long weekend threw me off and I can't remember what veggies I ate.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, I stuck to my broccoli, celery, baby carrots and cucumber staples. I also had a pink lady apple and a Bosc pear.
6 hours of sleep last night - my fault. Stayed up late talking to one of my BERG friends.
Workout - my thumbs since I hosted a video game party. :)
