Ah, yes. The remains of the glass lid for my skillet. It took an ill-timed tumble from the cooking island to the tile floor while I was making dinner tonight.
Here's why Dave is a most-excellent Valentine: Although it was VERY clearly my fault the lid fell to the floor, he asked me if I was OK, sequestered the cat, and grabbed the broom for the clean-up. Now THAT'S romantic.

ReplyDeleteThis incident reminds me of a question I've been recently pondering... where does one buy a lid to a skillet? JUST a lid and not the skillet? I could use one, and now it seems like you could too!
