The Tough Guy Challenge - And There Are Only 72 Days Til The Warrior Dash

The 24th annual Tough Guy Challenge was held on January 31 in Wolverhampton, England. It's advertised as "the safest most dangerous taste of physical and mental endurance pain in the world." The 5,000 men and women who entered were required to sign waivers that said, "It's my own bloody fault for being here."

I really hope I don't become the person frozen on the threshold of an obstacle during the Warrior Dash. For the love of Sunbutter, don't let me be paralyzed at the sight of the cargo net and barbed wire.

I love the gritted teeth.

Most of the photos are of the male competitors; yay for the ladies!
 

This makes me want to wear a costume for the Warrior Dash. It might be worth the destruction of my Xena outfit for a photo opp like this one. What do you think? Should I kiss the costume goodbye for fashion flair on race day?!

I have 72 days to get my thyroid in line and my costume planned for the Warrior Dash on May 1. Hello, cargo net and fire pit!

    You're welcome Melissa! Happy to give credit where it's definitely due. And did I mention you totally inspired me to do the Warrior Dash? The Mid-Atlantic one is in October. Should be nice and chilly, lol. I'm more excited about the Viking Helmet than anything else!

    And yeah, the helmet is about 85% of my motivation to do it. I'm going to wear that thing EVERYWHERE. It's a fur helmet. With horns!!!

    I cannot wait to see your outfit! And I'm so envious that you signed up for this. You were made for this type of event and I'm looking forward to you tearing it up!
