This just in: Smudge really likes Jane Eyre, too... and since we'd never seen the adaptation starring Orson Welles, we held down the couch this weekend through every spooky moment of the 1944 classic.
Smudge and I are in agreement that we prefer the 2006 Toby Stephens-Ruth Wilson version.

ReplyDeleteThe Toby Stephens version is one of my all-time favorites of the BBC classics. He's also really good in Tenant of Wildfell Hall :)
