Runner's World Quote of the Day

Winning has nothing to do with racing. Most days don't have races anyway. Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up.

  2. I get those quotes every day, and many of them are, like, "yeah... OK. blah blah. inspiration, whatever."

And then I'll get one that just really resonates. I liked this one. Glad you do, too.

How's your training going? Are you running a ton?

  3. I know you can rock that 22" in your sleep. Do you have a prejump unintelligible primitive noise you like to make? It blocks out that split second where fear of scraped shins and failure tries to ground you. Let loose a rebel yell and get the knees around the ears, I"m guessing your ears are higher than 22inches? I'm posting this on your blog too! I want that 22" bitch slapped! Scaredy-cat is not a word I would use to describe someone who was a badass rollergirl.
