We Will Soon Return To Regularly Scheduled Programming

I'm in the midst of a serious family crisis. Y'all know I'm going to weather it just fine (eventually), but for now, it requires my full attention, so I need to take a short break from updating my blog for a few days.

While I'm taking care of the business of life, here a few past blog posts that I thought you might want to re-visit...

Sleep of the Righteous, Part 1
Sleep of the Righteous, Part 2
Run with the Heroes: A Story in Photos
Spartan Challenge 2009: A Story in Photos
Austin Half Marathon: A Story in Photos
Paleo Kitchen: The Method Behind My Madness
Guest Blog: Why We Train

And here are some blogs that I turn to for good writing, great ideas, and good advice. I encourage you to read them – just promise to come back here and see me when I'm back in the saddle.

Whole9 Blog: Moxy-Boss + Dallas + snark + brains = awesome sauce

Lean Mean Roomie Machine: by day, they're public interest attorneys; by night, Crossfit crusaders

Life Fit and Sore: Stephanie shares workouts, news, and daily inspiration

CrossfitNYC: every day they post links to the best stuff around the Web

Things We Forget: kickass post-it notes left in public places

Talk to y'all soon. Until then, work hard, play hard, eat clean, and sleep the sleep of the righteous.

  3. It is sad to read your blog and know that you are going through something awful. I wish you could share it with us but most of all I wish we could help make it easier for you to get through. You are one of my favorite bloggers and you've been such an inspiration to me when it comes to Crossfit, food, and... life. So hang tough and keep doing what you do best... facing life head-on, trying hard, and making the best of it.

  4. Thank you, Melissa! I'm feeling a little calmer and stronger every day -- still fighting through some stuff, but I'm slowly working my way back to some semblance of normalcy.

Your kind words about my blog are like super-powered medicine. And by posting, you really are helping me. It's nice to know I'm not alone. Thank you so much!
